43rd arrest made by STF in UKSSSC exam leak case

Accused posted as livestock extension officer in Saharanpur district
Investigating the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) examination paper leak case, the Special Task Force (STF) arrested yet another accused in the case. The accused Manoj Kumar Chauhan is alleged to have played a role in the examination paper leak along with an accused arrested earlier. This is the 43rd arrest made by the STF in the UKSSSC examination paper leak case. The accused is currently posted as the livestock extension officer in Saharanpur district of neighbouring Uttar Pradesh. According to the officials, Chauhan is a native of Kasampur village in Udham Singh Nagar district and was currently working at Aurangaband in the neighbouring State.
According to the officials, the STF has been consistently searching for the forward links of all accused in the UKSSSC paper leak case. As part of the investigation, the candidates who had indulged in malpractice facilitated by accused Kendrapal during the examination are also being identified by the authorities. During questioning of such candidates, it was revealed that eight to 10 candidates made payments to Manoj Kumar Chauhan after copying in the entrance test. He had allegedly sent them to Kendrapal and Lalitraj Sharma’s centres for the examination. Other candidates who had indulged in malpractice through any means during the examination are also being identified by the STF.
