Tremors felt in north India, Nepal

In latest Uttarakhand news, an earthquake with the magnitude of 5.5 jolted the State, particularly Dehradun, Pithoragarh, Rudrapur, Almora and Tehri districts. While feeling the tremor, the people, in a fit of panic, rushed out of their homes. They said that the tremors lasted for nearly 40 seconds. Along with Uttarakhand, the entire north India, including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan aside from a large swathe of Nepal, shook under the impact of the tremblor.
