A five- day ‘Prabuddhajan Yoga Vigyan Shivir’ commenced in the presence of Yoga guru Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna at Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar organised for the scholars from neighbouring Nepal. They participated in a yoga session presided over by Swami Ramdev.
Swami Ramdev said that though India and Nepal are two countries the cultural heritage and destination are the same. “A sannyasi is a global citizen. I yearn for the welfare of Nepal as much as I yearn for the welfare of India. I dream of Patanjali Wellness, Gurukulam, Acharyakulam and university being established in a systematic manner in Nepal in coming years,” he added.
Acharya Balkrishna in his address said that despite Nepal and India being two sovereign States, they are inseparable and indivisible, socially, culturally and spiritually. “The relation of roti-beti between the two countries existed for centuries and will exist for centuries to come,” he added.
In the evening session, the guests from Nepal visited Yoggram, naturopathy treatment centre, and Patanjali Gramodyog where they studied cowshed and organic farming.
