In latest news from Uttarakhand, six students of the electronics and mechanical department of G B Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology (GBIET) in Pauri have been selected for the Kotdwar- based Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) with Rs 12 lakh salary package during campus interview drive. Notably, BEL is public sector defence and aerospace company under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India headquartered in Bengaluru. Commending the development, the director BEL Pauri B N Kala said that his institute’s students are showing exemplary brilliance and willpower which are impressing big ticket companies.
