The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that in last six months he has taken more than 600 decisions of public interest. He was addressing a programme ‘ Sarkar Ke 5 Sal “ Naye Irade – Yuva Sarkar’ at Khatima in Udham Singh Nagar on Friday. The CM gave a pre election gift of the 74.32 crore to the area where his constituency falls. He laid the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 41.45 crore and inaugurated projects of Rs 32.87 crore on the day. Dhami distributed the Mahalakshmi kits to the beneficiaries and handed over mobile tablets to the students of classes 10 and 12 on the occasion. Dhami said that many development activities are taking place in the state under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He claimed that in last five years the double engine government has increased road, rail and air connectivity and the health facilities and infrastructure has improved. He said that work on Kedaranth reconstruction was done as per the guidance of PM Modi and projects worth Rs 250 crore have been approved for Badrinath. He claimed that in last five years projects worth Rs one lakh crore have been approved by the union government for the state in last five years. Dhami said that a satellite centre of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is being set up in Udham Singh Nagar at a cost of Rs 500 crore. He said that the approval for survey of Tanakpur- Bageshwar rail line has been given by the Union government and the work on Rishikesh- Karnprayag rail line would complete till the year 2024. He said that Dehradun airport is being improved as per the international standards and the Pantnagar airport is being made Greenfield airport.
The CM said that the state government is working on the concept of Antyodaya and projects are being made while keeping the interests of the people standing last on the social ladder. He added that in the first cabinet meeting he decided to start recruitment process in all the vacant posts. The CM said that the process of recruitment on 1734 posts in police department is underway. The government has a brought a sports policy to promote the sports in the state.
The programme was organised in all the 70 assembly constituencies on the day in which the ministers, MLAs and other leaders participated. In the programme information about the development programmes was given.
