The State Health department reported 61 new cases of the Covid-19 on Tuesday. The State now has 221 active cases of the disease. Death of one patient from the disease was reported on the day at Shri Mahant Indiresh hospital Dehradun.
The authorities reported 32 new cases of Covid-19 from Dehradun on Tuesday. Similarly nine new cases of the disease were reported in Nainital, five from Uttarkashi, four each from Almora and Pauri, two each from Chamoli, Haridwar and Rudraprayag and one from Tehri on Tuesday.
The authorities declared 62 patients recovered from the disease on Tuesday. The department has so far detected 2,789 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year in the State. A total of 2,555 patients have recovered from the disease so far. A total of 13 patients have lost their lives from the disease from January 1 this year in the state. The State now has 221 active patients of Covid-19 with Dehradun and Nainital leading the table with 86 and 47 active cases of the disease respectively.
