The CM helpline 1905 service is proving to be a boon for the general public. The service, an initiative of the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was launched with the objective to ensure that the people are not forced to make the rounds of the government offices for their issues and their problems are solved in their homes.

The CM himself is regularly monitoring the helpline service.   A total of 95,573 complaints have so far been registered in the helpline since January 2024 and as per the data made available by the office of chief minister 61 per cent of these complaints have been resolved. On March 11, the CM reviewed the status of the complaints and interacted with some of the complainants to take their feedback. In the meeting he took a stern note of the delay in the disposing of the complaints and warned that disciplinary action would be taken against the officers concerned for laxity.

The CM said that the government and administration should be accountable towards the general public. He said that the officers should work dedicatedly to solve the complaints and should not keep the issues pending.

An official claimed that the helpline service is a positive step in the direction of the  good governance model of CM Dhami which is based on service, good governance and welfare of the poor- concepts propounded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The model of good governance is also being manifested in the increased income of the State. The reporting of the profit by the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) for the first time this year is also attributed to the model of good governance. The Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) has earned a profit of Rs 49 crore this year from the helicopter service in Kedarnath.
