The 8th convocation of IMS Unison University (IUU) was held on Saturday during which 665 degrees and 12 gold medals, along with the founder chairman medal and the president’s medal, were conferred on the students. The president and managing director of Volvo Group India Kamal Bali was the chief guest while the founding vice- chancellor of Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Skills University (RTMSSU) Apoorva Palkar was the guest of honour.
Naveen Agarwal founder chairman medal was awarded to Sarthak Baluni while the president’s medal was awarded to Isha Kansal. Gold medals were awarded to 12 toppers, nine of whom were girls.
The vice-chancellor, IMS Unison University, Anil Subba Rao Paila, in his address, said that the graduating students have reached an important milestone and are now stepping into a new phase of their journey.
Bali exhorted the students to cling to the ethical values they have imbibed in the university throughout their lives.
Palkar also addressed the students and commended their academic achievement.
