Preparations for the 19th convocation of Kumaun University, slated on December 16, are now in the final stage. Governor Lt Gen (Retd)) Gurmeet Singh who is also the chancellor of the university along with the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the higher education minister Dhan Singh Rawat will be present. The university administration has released the list of 67 students who will receive medals during the convocation ceremony from the chancellor. These include Meenakshi Dhela in Painting, Bhumika in Economics, Purnima Rana in Education, Darshit Shah in English, Riya Pant in Geography, Neha in Hindi and Gaurav Khulbe in History among others.
