In latest news from Doon, the State government has issued an order effecting a pay hike for 5000-odd employees of National Health Mission. The assistant director of the NHM Uttarakhand Archana Ojha informed all the CMOs and secretaries/members of the district health committees about the pay hike order issued by the administration.
As per the order, the hike varies from seven to 15 per cent. While the hike is seven per cent for those drawing salary of Rs 25,000 it is 11 per cent for those drawing Rs 20,000 and 15 per cent for those drawing Rs 15,000. The NHM employees’ union expressed gratitude to the chief minister and the health minister for the pay hike.
