A seven-year-old Harshika Rikhari from Dewalchaur in Haldwani was felicitated with Yoga Ratna title for her persistent high-energy yoga performance at the National Yoga Mahashikhar Sammelan organised by Rishikul Yogpeeth in Delhi attended by yoga gurus and naturopaths aside from yoga practitioners/experts from different states of India.
Interestingly, along with Harshika, her father Bhuvan Rikhari was also honoured with Yoga Ratna. Harshika had participated in district, state and national- level yoga competitions and clinched 22 medals, including a number of gold medals, at the age of seven years.
