Shravani Upakarma and Vedarambh Sanskar were performed on Tuesday in accordance with the Vedic traditions for 700 students of all the education projects, including Acharyakulam, founded by yoga guru Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna.  A 51- Kundiya Maha Yagya was conducted in the presence of Acharya Balkrishna for the newly admitted 700 students’ initiation into the Vedic traditions.

Speaking on the occasion, Acharya Balkrishna said that Shravani Upkarma is the foundation stone of the best sanskars, adding that
all the educational projects of Patanjali, including Acharyakulam, are founded firmly on the foundations of the guru-disciple tradition where the student is transformed through the sanskars they acquire from yoga and spirituality.

Among those present on the occasion was the vice- president of Acharyakulam, Ritambara Shastri ‘Behanji’.
