In latest Uttarakhand news, the 74th annual general meeting of the Nainital Milk Producers Cooperative Union will be held in Bhimtal on August 19 to be attended by over 600 heads of the milk producers committees from Nainital district. Informing this, the director of Uttarakhand Cooperative Dairy Federation and the president of Nainital Milk Union Mukesh Singh Bora said that the Union minister of state for defence Ajay Bhatt and the State milk development and animal husbandry minister Saurabh Bahuguna would be present at the AGM. “Plus, we have invited all MLAs of Nainital district along with the director of the State dairy development department and the district panchayat president. In addition to them, a number of milk production specialists will attend and brainstorm about how to enhance the volume of milk production in Nainital,” Bora said and added that campaigns are being organised in the mountainous areas to make the people aware of the purity of the Aanchal milk and they are taking all initiatives to effect a 25 per cent growth in the income of the milk producers.
