75 services of nine depts made online in U’khand

CM says his government focusing on principle of simplification, solution and satisfaction
In a major step towards fulfilling ‘minimum government maximum governance’ objective of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Uttarakhand government has made 75 services of nine departments online. The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched Apani Sarkar and Unnati portals in a programme here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that the launching of the portal is a major step in the direction of good governance. He said that now one can get 75 services including income certificate, caste certificate, and domicile certificate from home. He said that initiation of online services would save time and money and all these certificates cab be stored in the digi locker. The CM said that under the leadership of PM Modi, India is taking big strides on the path of development and in last seven years a major change has occurred in the work culture of the country. He said that one of the key features in the schemes initiated during the BJP rule is that all of them have been designed while keeping the interests of the poor sections of the society in the middle. The CM said that his government is focussing on the principle of ‘simplification, solution and satisfaction’.
The CM also spoke with the beneficiaries of the online services. Kamla Rana of Udham Singh Nagar suggested that special camps should be organised for prompt disposal of the issues of the people. Pranav Rawat of Tehri said that government employees and others should be involved in creating public awareness about the schemes and the online services provided by the government.
The Mayor of Dehradun Sunil Uniyal ‘ Gama’ said hat the newly launched portals would be of a great benefit to the general public. He said that the portals would also help in striking coordination between different departments.
Informing about the portals, the secretary Information, science and technology R K Sudhanshu said that they would help in creating cashless, paperless and faceless system. He said that every citizen can create his own dashboard on the portal by which one can witness the progress of his file. Sudhanhshu added that the portal would help in department wise, officer wise and district wise review of the performance and would increase transparency.
The additional principal secretary (CM) Abhinav Kumar, secretary A S Hyanki, special secretary Parag Madhukar Dhakate, director ITDA Ashish Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
