Uttarakhand police gave pre-New Year gifts to 786 constables on Friday by promoting them to the post of head constable. The officials informed that 647 male constables of armed police have been promoted to the post of head constable along with 139 female constables of the civil police.
The director general of police Ashok Kumar congratulated all police personnel who got the promotion while adding that it will boost the morale of each police personnel of the department.
