Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC celebrated the 78th Independence Day in its own premises with patriotic fervour.
The principal S K Dhiman unfurled the tricolour followed by the singing of the national anthem. The students then presented cultural activities mostly based on the theme of patriotism and the gallantry shown by the warriors of the nation.
The special programme ended with the principal speaking of the horrors of Partition and advent of Independence following sacrifice and struggle of countless freedom fighters and common people.
