8 IPS officers, including 4 SSPs, transferred in rejig

In latest news from Dehradun, in a major re-jig in the State police department, as many as eight IPS officers have been transferred from their present posts. Among those who have been transferred in the reshuffle are the senior superintendents of police of four districts-Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital and Chamoli. Importantly, the SSP Dehradun Dalip Singh Kunwar has been made the deputy inspector general of police, information, while the Haridwar SSP Ajay Singh has been shifted to Dehradun as the SSP. The inspector general of police, Kumaon division, Nilesh Anand Bharane has been given the new appointment as the inspector general, P/M while deputy inspector general of police, information Yogendra Singh Rawat has been sent to the post of the inspector general of police Kumaon division. The superintendent of police, vigilance Haldwani Prahlad Narayan Meena has been appointed as the senior superintendent of police, Nainital district while the SSP Nainital Pankaj Bhatt has got his new appointment as the commander 46th Corps Provincial Armed Constabulary, Rudrapur. The SSP Chamoli Pramendra Doval has been transferred as the SSP Haridwar while the superintendent of police traffic in Haridwar has been sent to the post of superintendent of police, Chamoli.
