In latest news from Dehradun, in good news for the natives of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh settled or working in Uttarakhand, the rail department will run eight special trains to facilitate their train travels during the Diwali and Chhath festivities. As per the rail department officers, these special trains will start journeys from Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi and will reach Patna Junction via Gaya and Jainagar. It is further learnt that the Anand Vihar Terminal-Patna Junction superfast train (no 03256) would run on Thursdays and Sundays from November 23 to December 12, departing from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.30 pm and reaching Patna Junction at 5.20 pm the next day. Similarly, the superfast Patna Junction-Anand Vihar train (no 02391) would run on every Saturday from November 25 to December 9, departing from Patna Junction at 10.20 pm and reaching Anand Vihar Terminal at 3 pm. And the return train (no 02392) will run on every Sunday from November 26 to December 10, departing from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.30 pm and reaching Patna Junction at 5.20 pm.
