Eighty- two year old Ramratan Rawat, who volunteers in regulating traffic on the busy Charkhi Gate area of Kaulgarh was felicitated by Brahmkamal Shakti Sansthan on Saturday.
A retired class IV employee from the Forest Research Institute (FRI), Rawat helps in regulating traffic in the busy Charkhi Gate area for about six hours a day during peak hours in morning and evening. This important road connects Selaqui- Vikasnagar to Kaulagarh and Ballupur- Clocktower road which witnesses a huge traffic load.
Rawat said that after witnessing the problem of traffic jams due to which people of Kaulagarh were facing problems, he decided to help in regulating traffic.
President of Brahmkamal Shakti Sansthan Abhinav Thapar said that Rawat is an inspiration for everyone. He said that the selfless service conducted by him helps in strengthening the society.
