To promote the 38th National Games, a promotional van programme has been scheduled in Tehri district from January 12 to 14 and a torch rally programme from January 15 to 17. Informing this, the district sports officer Deepak Rawat said that three promotional vans will move around various development blocks for three days starting from January 12. While one will do publicity in Kirtinagar-Devprayag-Narendranagar-Uttarkashi the second will do the same in Jakhnidhar-Pratapnagar-Tholdahar-Uttarkashi and the third, in Ghansali-New Tehri-Chamba-Jaunpur- Uttarkashi. These promotional vehicles will do campaign to ensure maximum public participation in the State’s mega sports event. Besides, the district administration has published the route chart of the three-day torch rally beginning on January 15 and it is like Ghansali-Tehri-Chamba-Narendranagar-Tholdahar via Uttarkashi.
