The Union minister of State for Defence and Tourism, Ajay Bhatt handed over the appointment letters to 92 candidates selected in various departments in the seventh Rozgar Mela held at the auditorium of Survey of India here on Saturday. The youths had come from the various districts of the State to receive appointment letters for various government jobs.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually attended the Rozgar Mela and addressed the recruited youths. He said that it is not only a memorable day for the young recruits but also a historic day for the nation. Apart from this, he said that the recruited youths must take the country’s name forward by working hard. He emphasised that the next 25 years are extremely crucial for the new recruits and the nation. He informed that 70,000 youths had been provided appointment letters across the entire country on Saturday.
It will be recalled that the previous Rozgar Mela was also conducted last month in Dehradun, in which 148 candidates received appointment letters for various government jobs.
