The research expedition aims to survey medicinal flora

The joint expedition of NIM, Patanjali, and the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) is being led by Acharya Balkrishna of Patanjali. The team would undertake research work in the Raktvarn glacier area of Gangotri for 15 days. The Principal of NIM Uttarkashi, Col Amit Bisht, mountaineering expert Deep Sahi, Vinod Singh Gusain, and Bihari Singh Rana (IMF representative) are part of the expedition. The objective of the mission is to conduct surveys of the medicinal and other flora of the mountain peaks and glaciers.
