Ankita Bhandari case- Congress attacks Government

The Uttarakhand Congress has said that the Ankita Bhandari case has exposed the deteriorating law and order condition in the State. Addressing the media persons at Rajeev Bhawan on Friday, the chief spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress Garima Dasauni said that the law and order condition in the State is in shambles.
Launching an attack on the BJP government, she said that crimes against women in the State have increased and the Ankita Bhandari case in Yamkeshwar in Pauri district has shamed the people of the State. She alleged that Bhandari who was appointed on the post of receptionist only 15 days ago in the resort owned by BJP leader Vinod Arya and within this short span of time his son Pulkit Arya threw her in a canal.
Dasauni said the incident has shocked the people of the State but the police remained inactive even after four days of the incident. Media panellist Sujata Paul said that the criminals are being protected under the BJP government in the State. She said that the resort of the BJP leader is illegal.
