Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat has said that the commencement of Bal Vatikas under the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 would prove to be a milestone in the education system of the country. He also congratulated the Union Education minister Dharmendra Pradhan for the inauguration of Bal Vatikas.
On Thursday Pradhan inaugurated Bal Vatikas in 50 Kendriya Vidyalayas in a programme held in New Delhi. The Bal Vatikas in these schools are getting started on a pilot basis. In the programme the Union Minister appreciated the Uttarakhand government, education minister Dhan Singh Rawat and education department of State for starting Bal Vatikas in more than 4,000 primary schools
Rawat said that the concept of Bal Vatikas and NEP -2020 would help in changing the Macaulay system of education and result in development of the regional languages.
