Rahima was living with her three children without passport & visa
The wife of Bangladeshi Alinoor, one of the suspected terrorists arrested from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh on October 10, was caught by the police in Haridwar. She was found to be living with three children in a rented house without passport and visa in the Dadupur Govindpur area of Haridwar. Ranipur police have registered a case and taken the woman into custody.
According to police officials, recently, a resident of Dhaka in Bangladesh, Alinoor, was arrested by the UP ATS from Saharanpur. Alinoor was reported to connected to Bangladeshi terrorist organisation Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen. Along with Alinoor, eight suspects, including Mudassir, a resident of Nagla Imarti in Roorkee and Kamil of Deoband, Saharanpur, had also been arrested. On Friday night, police received information that Alinoor’s wife Rahima (25) was living with her three children in Dadupur Govindpur area without a passport and visa. Police registered a case against the woman and took her into custody. At present, the police and intelligence teams are interrogating the woman.
The superintendent of police (City) Swatantra Kumar Singh said that a case has been registered against the woman under relevant sections for living without passport and visa. At present, further investigation is going on in the matter, he added.
