Six persons were injured when two cars collided in the Bahadarabad area of Haridwar early on Saturday morning. The accident took place at about 5 AM. The Bahadarabad police reached the spot on receiving information about the accident and the injured were sent to the local hospital by ambulance.
According to the information received from the Bahadarabad police station, at around 5 AM, two cars collided with each other near Raghunath Mall. One car was coming from the Haryana side while the other car was going from Haridwar towards Roorkee. Soon after the accident, people in the vehicles passing on the road immediately informed the Bahadarabad police station. The police reached the accident site and four of the seriously injured persons were sent to the hospital by ambulance.
In the preliminary investigation, the police have come to know that one vehicle was being used to check the buses of Uttar Pradesh roadways. The other car was coming from the Haryana side. The Bahadarabad police station officer Nitesh Sharma said that all the injured are being treated in a private hospital. At present, no application has come from anyone’s side.
