STF arrests 11 wanted criminals in one month

The Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF) has arrested 11 wanted criminals in the past one month from various parts of the country. The senior superintendent of police (SSP) of STF, Ayush Agrawal informed that STF teams have been conducting operations in various States to nab the absconding and most wanted criminals for crimes committed by them in various districts here. He said that most of these criminals have been on run for months and also have a bounty on their heads.

The STF has made concrete plans to nab them in various States with proper execution. He said that STF has nabbed a total of 11 criminals in one month and this number would continue to increase in the future.  On Sunday, the STF arrested a man named Sudhir Kumar from Delhi who was accused of severely beating up a man Hariraj Singh and injuring him in Jaspur, Udham Singh Nagar in March this year. The SSP said that the victim filed a complaint against the accused but he escaped the district and the authorities have been looking for him since then. He said that the authorities were after him for the past eight months. 

The STF received a tip off that the accused Sudhir Kumar was hiding in a rented room in the Model Town area of Delhi. The STF team raided the area and finally arrested him late on Saturday night. The police had also announced a bounty of Rs 15,000 on his head.  He said that there was already a police case registered against the accused under the Arms Act and the STF is also analysing his criminal history in other States. He said that more wanted criminals would be nabbed in future too.
