Haridwar district magistrate Vinay Shankar Pandey has thanked members of the religious fraternity and local businessmen for voluntary removal of encroachments. Pandey inspected various areas where encroachments were marked and directed officials to ensure the removal of the encroachments.
It is pertinent to mention that after the administration’s warning, the encroachment on the Bharat Mata Mandir Road in Haridwar has been removed voluntarily. Pandey appreciated the initiative of the religious fraternity and businessmen while urging members of the religious fraternity to cooperate with the administration. He thanked Bharat Mata Mandir, Parmarth Niketan, Bhuma Niketan and other bodies for voluntarily removing encroachments and cooperating with the authorities. He appreciated the fact that the administration did not have to use any force for removal of such encroachments. Haridwar city magistrate Awadhesh Kumar Singh, sub divisional magistrate Puran Singh Rana and municipal commissioner Dayanand Saraswati were also present with him.
