Pauri district magistrate Ashish Chauhan instructed officers to ensure that the work in progress is completed within the prescribed duration. He issued this direction while chairing a meeting held at the collectorate regarding the announcements made by the chief minister. Officials informed that out of the 251 announcements made by the chief minister for the district, work on 116 has been completed while work on the remaining 43 announcements is in progress.
The district magistrate expressed dissatisfaction at the slow progress in the construction of the auditorium of the Culture department in Srinagar by the executing agency Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam and instructed the officials concerned to complete the work in the prescribed duration. Chauhan warned the Youth Welfare officer regarding the delay in identifying land for a mini stadium in the Lansdowne Assembly constituency and instructed the official to ensure identification of the land without further delay. Chauhan also instructed the Kotdwar sub divisional magistrate to identify the land for Kotdwar bus station and canteen of the paramilitary force. He directed all executing agencies to ensure timely completion of works on the announcements made by the chief minister. He said that in cases where land has not been identified, the same should be done within 15 days.
