The State administration has affected a major reshuffle in the education department by transferring a large number of senior officers on Wednesday. In the transfer order, Shiv Prasad Semwal has been made the District Education Officer (DEO), primary education of Pithoragarh while Ramesh Chandra Purohit would be the new DEO, secondary of Champawat. Pradeep Kumar Gupta has been the DEO, secondary of Dehradun, Ashutosh Bhandari DEO Primary Haridwar, Dharam Singh, DEO primary Chamoli and Rai Singh Rawat would be the deputy director (DD) State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT). In the order Uma Panwar was made new DEO, secondary of Tehri, Hemlata Bhatt, DEO , secondary Almora while Atresh Sayana and Ashok Kumar Gusain would be the DEO Primary of Almora and Champawat respectively.
The department has made RK Dandariyal as Principal of District Institute of Education and Research (DIET) Tehri, Kamla Badwal Deputy Director Primary education, H R Kohli Principal DIET Didihat Pithoragarh, Dalel Singh as DEO Primary, Bageshwar, Nagendra Bartwal DEO primary Nainital and R S Savita as DEO , Secondary Haridwar.
