The special investigation team probing the JE/AE recruitment test scam lodged in Kankhal police station in Haridwar district has arrested two brothers of the main accused in the case. The Haridwar senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh stressed that nobody who is guilty in the scam will be allowed to evade the law.
According to the police, Sandeep and Amit were questioned regarding the malpractices at the SIT office on Friday. During the questioning, the accused Sandeep confessed to having monitored the candidates who were made to sit in a Dharmshala near Bharat Mata Mandir in Haridwar for copying while accused Amit confessed to having monitored candidates who were made to sit at a location at Hasanpur in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh for copying.
Based on the facts revealed during the questioning the two men were taken into custody and further legal proceedings were being carried out, informed the police. The two accused are the brothers of the main accused in the scam Sanjeev Dubey and were allegedly helping him out in the illegal activities with the aim of earning substantial amounts.
