More than 1.14 lakh appear in junior assistant exam

More than 1.14 lakh candidates (78.50 per cent) appeared in the junior assistant examination held in 412 examination centres across the State on Sunday. According to the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC), 1,14,052 out of the 1,45,239 registered candidates appeared for the exam. There were a total 100 objective type questions for which the duration of the examination was two hours.
After successful conclusion of the exam, the commission got to know that the serial order of questions in all series of question papers was not different but the same. The UKPSC has clarified that uniform serial order of questions in all series of question papers does not affect the cleanliness of the exams. The examination was held across the State in a clean and unhindered manner. The commission did not receive any complaint related to examination related irregularity or malpractice from any examination centre.
