Digital health IDs of 30.61 lakh made in U’khand

In a major step towards digital Uttarakhand mission, the State Health department has claimed that the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) IDs of 30.61 lakh people in the State have been made under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) . The health related details of all these persons are now available online. In provisional State capital Dehradun, a total of 6,61,919 ABHA IDs have so far been made. The State mission director of ABDM, Arunendra Chauhan said that the ABDM is a dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under the mission the health record of all the citizens of the country is being digitised. The digital ID would have complete detail of the health status, diagnostic tests and treatment and the record would be available online for any hospital.
He said that the efforts are being made to make ABHA IDs of every individual. These IDs would also ensure paperless registration and treatment and its holders and can take tokens in the hospitals by use of the QR code.
The department has so far made 6,61,919 IDs in Dehradun, 3,98,571 in Nainital, 2,82,253 in Haridwar, 2,32,694 in Udham Singh Nagar, 1,83,236 in Pauri, 1,43,166 in Almora, 1,22,741 in Tehri, 94,285 in Pithoragarh, 75,008 in Chamoli, 71,453 in Bageshwar, 65,452 in Champawat, 55,736 in Uttarkashi and 28,832 in Rudraprayag district.
The Health minister Dhan Singh Rawat ABDM is a revolutionary step in the health sector. He said that the officers have been asked to connect every citizen of the State with the mission. He appealed to the general public to come forward and get their ABHA IDs generated. The ABDM was started in the year 2021 in Uttarakhand.
