Speaking of the ongoing science advisor round table conference as part of G-20 summit being held in Ramnagar, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Wednesday that Uttarakhand is using the opportunity of holding three important events as parts of the summit to the hilt. “This is a rare opportunity for us and we are doing everything possible to take the timeless culture of the state across the world. We are sure that the three G-20 events when successfully held will take the state into the world map and will give the state a distinct identity as a global tourism destination,” he said.

Earlier, Dhami visited the National Association for the Blind (NAB) at Gaulapar in Haldwani. He said that his government is doing everything to improve the plight of the differently abled people. Invoking the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, chief minister said that Modi has given the name of Divyang to physically disabled people. “It works as an inspiration in itself,” he said and added that his government has been working hard for the disabled people with the institute’s infrastructure facilities being fully developed.
