One person was killed and two others were critically injured in an accident that occurred on Nainital Road near a forest chowki in Kaladhungi. The accident involved a timber- loaded truck and a Honda City car with a UP number. The car that was coming from Kaladhungi rammed into truck which was standing on the road. The frontal part of the car was completely damaged. The three persons travelling in the car were trapped inside. Police reached the spot soon and rescued the three persons. One of the injured was identified as Suresh Arora, resident of Kashipur. Police rushed the injured to the Kaladhungi hospital where the doctors declared one of them brought dead. The two others were referred to Susheela Tiwari Government Hospital in Haldwani.
