With the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 2-day Kerala trip a day away, a letter has been received in which it was stated that the PM would be killed in bomb blast just as Rajiv Gandhi was killed. The security agencies have started to investigate the matter.
The Kerala state BJP president K Surendran said that his office had received this letter written in Malayalam. He said he had handed over the letter to police. The address of one K Jani was written on the letter. Police question Jani, a resident of Kochi. But he denied having written the letter. He further said that the letter might have been written by someone who is inimical to him.
