An anti-human trafficking team with a police team raided a café and a spa centre situated on the Bajpur Road in Kashipur in Udham Singh Nagar district. It was led by the anti-human trafficking team in-charge Basanti Arya and CO Vandana Verma. The spa centre and the café have been operating from Priya Mall. Kashipur CO Vandana Verma said that she had been receiving reports of immoral activities going on in these spa centres and café. She had things secretly investigated. When the anti-human trafficking team and the police team reached the mall in the late evening those operating the spa centre and the café fled, shutting them down. Police said that they tried to contact them on phone but failed. Police further said that the owners have to have their papers verified with the anti-human trafficking cell.
