The weather in Dehradun and various other parts of the State remained clear on Saturday though rain has been forecast in parts of six mountainous districts of the State on Sunday. The State meteorological centre has issued a warning (watch) regarding the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied with lightning/hail likely to occur at isolated places in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag and Chamoli districts on Sunday. Further, very light to light rain/thunderstorms are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Almora and Pithoragarh districts. Apart from this, dry weather is likely to prevail in the remaining districts of the State today.
The provisional State capital Dehradun is likely to witness mainly clear to partly cloudy skies with thunder cloud development likely to occur in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 33 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
