Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated a crèche and smart class in the State secretariat premises on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that the best facilities are provided in the crèche for the children of secretariat employees. He congratulated the women empowerment and child development department for completing the modernisation work of the crèche in only 18 days.
The facilities of AC, refrigerator, water purifier, bed, child friendly wash basin and fire extinguisher are provided in the crèche. An arrangement of smart class and outdoor sports equipment has also been made in the crèche which is decorated with fencing and wall paintings. A solar power plant of 2 kw capacity has been installed here for energy conservation.
The chief secretary SS Sandhu, Additional chief secretary Radha Raturi, Secretary HC Semwal and employees of the State secretariat were present on the occasion. The secretariat workers expressed gratitude to CM Dhami for the setting up of the modern crèche.
