In latest Uttarakhand news, braving incessant snowfall, the Uttarakhand Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri visited Badrinath Dham
and paid obeisance to the Lord. She later talked to the pilgrims. On her arrival at the revered shrine, the members of the temple management committee accorded her a warm welcome. After talking to the pilgrims, she expressed satisfaction over the arrangements being made by the State government and the committee for safe and smooth pilgrimage. She said that this shrine nestled in the majestic Himalayas is a peerless one visiting which the pilgrims get peace of souls and a happy material life. “I have got spiritually renewed by my visit,” she added.
