In latest Uttarakhand news, while commenting on the increasing instances of love jihad cases in the State, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that his government would not allow Uttarakhand to become a soft state. “There appears to be a conspiracy behind these cases and the State government has undertaken an intense verification drive to nab the suspicious elements. Strict actions will be taken against those to be found guilty,” he said. He further said that as the people of Uttarakhand are now becoming more alert than before they can hardly be snared in vicious traps.
