CS visits Lakhamandal, several developmental memorandums served to him

In latest Uttarakhand news, during his visit of the religious places located in the Lakhamanadal area in the Chakrata region of Dehradun district, the State chief secretary S S Sandhu said that the history of these places dating back to the ancient time, these can be developed as vibrant tourist places. He assured that the administration would ensure that this area sees maximum development in the shortest possible time and all the deficiencies are fixed. Accompanied by the Dehradun district magistrate Sonika, the CS visited and offered prayers at Mahasu Devta temple at Hanol.
It is pertinent to mention that the president of the students’ union of Tuini-based Pandit Shivram College served a memorandum to Sandhu, requesting for his intervention for concretisation of the road linking the college campus with the National Highway. Besides, the temple committee appealed for his initiative in building a night rest house in Lakhamandal and linking the Chakrata-Tuini motor road with Char Dham Yatra road. Further, the village pradhan urged the CS to take initiative for concretisation of the Tuini Road.
