Important decisions taken on CM’s directions

Various decisions have been implemented by the State government on the directions of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The income limit and subsidy amount under the Anusuchit Jati Swatah Swarozgar Yojana have been increased. Now the income limit of Rs 40,000 in rural areas and Rs 55,000 in urban areas has been increased to Rs 2.50 lakh.
The subsidy amount has been increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000 or 50 per cent of the plan expenditure, whichever is less. In another decision, the gazetted officers and non-gazetted personnel of the State Disaster Response Force undertaking rescue work at altitudes above 11,000 feet will be provided Rs 1,500 and Rs 1,000 incentive respectively per day.
This decision is expected to further enhance efficiency of rescue operations in disaster scenarios. The CM has also granted approval to name Koshya Kutoli Tehsil in Nainital district Sri Kainchi Dham after Baba Neeb Karoli Dham. Dhami has also directed that for the convenience of devotees visiting Neeb Karoli Dham throughout the year, the construction of roads from Bhawali sanitorium to Ratighat and Naini Bend bypass should be expedited and completed before the foundation day of Kainchi Dham next year.
