The two- day All India Indian Public Schools Taekwondo competition (boys) concluded in Birla Vidya Mandir school in Nainital on Tuesday. The chief guest on the occasion was the principal of the Sainik School, Ghorakhal Group Captain B S Dangwal. He awarded the players of the winning teams and the runner- ups in various categories.
While Birla Vidya Mandir secured the first position in the plays involving all the age groups, Rajkumar College Rajkot secured the second position in the group of under 14 years and Emerald Heights International School, Indore stood second in the groups of under 17 years and under 19 years. Notably, most of the matches of the competition were played on Monday itself.
Principal of Birla Vidya Mandir Anil Sharma thanked the participants and the principals of all the participating schools for the success of the competition.
