Put vigilance setup of the State on active mode: CM Dhami

Complaints on CM helpline number 1905 to be reviewed twice in month by the DMs and once by the CM
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed that the vigilance set up of the State should be put in an active mode and the people should be made aware about the 1064 number for corruption free administration in the State.
The CM added that the complaints posted on the CM helpline 1905 should be solved promptly and the district magistrates (DM) should interact with the some complainants on every working day. Dhami gave the orders while taking a review meeting of the CM helpline at the State secretariat on Wednesday.
The CM said that he would hold review of the CM helpline on the last Thursday of every month and directed that the DMs should hold review of the helpline twice in a month.
On a stern note, the CM said that the departments where the percentage of the disposing of the complaints is less should ensure that there is an improvement in their performance. He warned that the laxity in solving the public grievances would not be tolerated and added that the better performing departments should be encouraged and rewarded.
Dhami suggested that the assessment of the complaints received and the addressed should be done regularly and the complaints should not face unnecessary hassle. He said that departments should keep separate data of the specific areas where more complaints are being received so that a separate policy is adopted for their solution.
In the meeting, the CM interacted with seven persons who had submitted their complaints in the CM helpline and took their feedback.
