Dehradun-based orthopaedic surgeon and recipient of Padma Shri Dr B K S Sanjay presented his maiden poetry book “Uphar Sandesh Ka” published by Bhartiya Jnanpith and Vani Prakashan to the renowned writer Ruskin Bond at the latter’s residence on Thurssday. Earlier, Dr Sanjay had presented this book to the President Droupadi Murmu and the Vice- President Venkaiah Naidu. The book had been released by the State chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Dr Sanjay said that Ruskin Bond had also presented his book “The Golden Years: The Many Joys of Living a Good Long Life” to him. On this occasion, the gynecologist and obstetrician Dr Sujata Sanjay presented her women’s health book “Mahila Darpan” to Ruskin Bond.
