Proposal for creation of DG’s post for agriculture dept to be placed before Cabinet: Joshi

In latest news from Dehradun, the State minister for agriculture and horticulture Ganesh Joshi said that a proposal would soon be placed before the Cabinet meeting for the creation of the post of director general. While addressing a media conference in Dehradun, the minister said that both the Centre and the State government have been striving tirelessly to ensure the welfare of the farmers and to enhance their income. To improve the performance of the agriculture and horticulture departments, a vision document will be firmed up soon involving the long-term and short-term objectives, the minister added.
