In latest Uttarakhand news, the road mishap spree with fatalities continues unabated in the mountainous parts of the State. At least two persons were killed and seven others were injured as the car they were travelling in crashed into a deep gorge at Karnaprayag in Chamoli district. There were nine occupants in the vehicle as per the police. Police further informed that the accident happened on the Karnaprayag-Gwaldam motor road near Ghandiyal Dhar. The bodies of the deceased were retrieved and those injured were rescued by a police team and SSB personnel with the help of the locals. The injured were sent to hospital, police informed.
