Corporation’s projects generate 29.962 MU electricity on August 5

The power plants of the UJVN Limited have once again broken their earlier record of highest power generation in a single day. Informing about this, the UJVNL managing director Sandeep Singhal informed that the hydro power projects of the corporation generated 25.962 million unit of electricity on August 5. This is the highest electricity generation on any single day by the corporation since its establishment. He further informed that earlier on July 28, the power projects of the corporation had generated 25.912 million unit of electricity which was the highest power generation on any single day by the corporation since its establishment till then. He said that UJVNL projects have achieved record power generation despite the challenging situations resulting from heavy rain, landslides and floods in the water collection areas of the projects. This shows the determination of the corporation’s personnel and their dedication to their work, he said. Expressing happiness at this achievement of the corporation’s power plants, the managing director said the highest power generation in any single day has been achieved due to better operation of the power plant machinery, maintenance and the commendable work of the personnel. Singhal expressed hope that with its good work culture and the determination of its personnel, UJVNL will continue to set new records in the future as well while doing its bit for making Uttarakhand a leading state in energy production.
