Popular actor Rajinikanth offered prayers in the Badrinath temple on Saturday evening. He was welcomed on behalf of the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee and presented with and lord’s Prasad and a garland of Tulsi leaves on the occasion.
The BKTC media in-charge Harish Gaur said that the actor reached Badrinath from the Dayanand Ashram in Rishikesh on Saturday and paid obeisance in the temple in the evening. He also participated in the Swarn Arti of lord Badrinath in the evening. After offering prayers he also met the Rawat (chief priest) Isvari Prasad Namboodari. The actor said that he was feeling enchanted after offering prayers in Badrinath and that he wished for public welfare along with happiness and prosperity in the nation.
